Guilty plea to assaults

A man who admitted two counts of assault has had his sentence deferred for the preparation of reports.

Appearing from custody on Monday, Shaun Geddes, 35, c/o Jewadale, Finstown, admitted assaulting a woman and a man at an address in Kirkwall on Saturday evening.

Geddes was released on bail, with the special condition that he does not contact the woman, and was ordered to return to court on March 14.
