Improvements underway at fostering service following damning inspection

A “chronic shortage” of permanent staff is hampering efforts to improve Orkney’s fostering and adoption service.

This was conceded by chief officer of Orkney Health and Care, Stephen Brown, this week as he shared a progress update following a damning inspection report last month.
