In this week’s The Orcadian

This week’s edition of The Orcadian is now in shops and is available online, here.

On the front page this week, we report on the impact that a backlog of PCR tests has had.

Orkney recorded 34 new cases at the weekend — many of which were related to tests earlier in the week but were delayed due to issues with being couriered down to Glasgow.

That led to patients having extended waits in isolation while awaiting their results.
