Introducing The Peedie Orcadian!

Here at The Orcadian we’ve been busy working on a new and exciting publication, aimed at younger readers.

We’re happy to let our readers know that this Thursday’s newspaper, will include the very first edition of The Peedie Orcadian, which will feature stories selected and written to interest children and teenagers.

It will also include content created by young people from around the county such as book reviews, interviews and a monthly cartoon, alongside puzzles and games.

The very first edition of The Peedie Orcadian features a book review by Nicole Sinclair from Stromness Academy, an interview with Betty Matthews and Graham MacDonald from the Palace Players drama group by Skyla Nicholson, from KGS, as well as the opportunity to win a birthday party, courtesy of The Pickaquoy Centre.

The Peedie Orcadian will be a monthly supplement, included with the first edition of The Orcadian each month. It will be included with both the print and digital editions of the newspaper.
