Research and Communications Assistant

Applications are invited for a full-time, permanent post in the Scottish Parliament office of Liam McArthur MSP in Edinburgh for the position of Research and Communications Assistant.

The role involves supporting Mr McArthur’s parliamentary work in representing the Orkney constituency and as the Scottish Liberal Democrat spokesperson for justice and the climate emergency. It requires excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as good research, organisational and team-working capabilities.

Shortlisted applicants may be asked to complete a written exercise, prior to interview taking place via Zoom in the first week of October. The successful applicant will be expected to begin their role as soon as possible after 6th October.
