Kirkwall Poundstretcher set for Saturday ‘grand opening’

Poundstretcher is getting set to open its new store in Kirkwall.

A “grand opening” of its new branch will take place on Saturday from 10am until mid-afternoon at its new premises on Albert Street, the former home of Poundland, Dealz and Woolworths.

Poundstretcher will be donating £200 worth of vouchers to Orkney Foodbank and there will be chances to win £250 vouchers throughout the opening day.

The firm’s property and legal director, Gerry Loughran, said Poundstretcher were pleased to be opening their Kirkwall store.
