Kris Drever named Composer of the Year at 2016 Trad awards

Acclaimed Orcadian musician Kris Drever has been named Composer of the Year at the 2016 MG ALBA Scots Trad Music awards in Dundee tonight.

Because he was gigging with his band, Lau, in Edinburgh, Kris was unable to collect his award in person, but made his acceptance speech via video.
