Mixed fortunes for football teams

Orkney reclaimed the Archer Shield after beating Caithness 2-1 at Pickaquoy this afternoon.

Caithness went ahead after just 41 seconds, but Jon Tait equalised ten minutes later, before substitute Jerry McBeth struck the winner late on.

Earlier in the day, Caithness won the Corinthian Cup with a 1-0 victory over Orkney’s Under-18s team.
