Orkney Motocross Club is gearing up for one of the biggest events on its calendar this weekend — the annual Beach Race.

This year marks a special anniversary for the club, with it being the 25th beach race.

The action is due get under way tomorrow, with racing commencing at 9.30am at Heddle Hill in Finstown.

Then, tomorrow, the racing switches to the Bu in Burray, with Junior Schoolpersons starting at 9.30am, Intermediate and Senior School persons at 10.30am and the Adults’ three-hour event starting at noon.
