Orcadian to receive New Year Honour

A well-known Orkney face has been named in the Queen’s New Year Honours List.

Marlene Croy, from Kirkwall, will receive a BEM for her voluntary service to St Magnus Cathedral and to the Orkney community.

Mrs Croy has also been involved with the Kirkwall Flower Arranging Club for many years.
