Orkney COVID-19 case numbers remain stable

Orkney has marked its fifth day in a row without any new test-confirmed cases of COVID-19, today, Thursday.

This is according to daily figures, published by the Scottish Government.

The total of confirmed test-positive cases recorded in the county to date remains at 62. This follows a significant rise of cases during January.

NHS Orkney has encouraged the public to remain vigilant and to continue following public health guidelines.

If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, you must isolate immediately. You can book a test by calling the COVID Assessment Centre for a test. The number to call is 888211.
