Orkney squads announced ahead of weekend fixtures

Orkney FC and Orkney Rugby Club have announced their squads ahead of their respective matches tomorrow.

The footballers are due to play Alness United at the Pickaquoy Centre, with the venue being switched from KGS earlier in the week. The game is scheduled to kick-off at 12.30pm.

The Rugby Club’s First XV are in action at the same venue, against Morgan Academy. Their game starts at 3pm.

Football Squad:- Davy Leonard, Steven Miller, Steven Hellewell, Chris Hellewell, Steven Edwards, Graham Shearer, Danny Bain, Erik Bews, Darren Mclean, Gareth Manson, Aiden Drever, John Pickles, Mark Berry, Chris Simpson, Joe Wilson and Keith Harcus.

Rugby starting XV:- Ally Linklater, Scott Rendall, Matthew Byers, Alex Kansour, Adam Baird (captain), Danny Bain, Robbie Firth, Alan Brown, William Thomson, Chris Guthrie, Phil Ross, Graham Poke, Denis Hayes, Craig Slater and James Linklater.

Substitutes:- Andrew Cuddihy, David Hamilton, Liam Sharpe and Scott Russell.
