Orkney’s new hospital project is on the shortlist
NHS Orkney’s new hospital and healthcare project has been shortlisted for an award recognising healthcare projects from across Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
The new hospital, which is currently under construction in the south of Kirkwall, has been shortlisted for the 2018 Partnership Awards’ best healthcare project award.
Orkney’s new £64 million healthcare project is up against five other sites from as far afield as Turkey and the Kyrgyz Republic.
The Partnership Awards, which are now in their 20th year, recognise achievement in public private partnerships.
Aside from the best healthcare project award, there are also awards for the best transport projects, best utilities project, best financial structure and more.
The winners will be announced at a gala dinner in London in May.
