Overtake incident prompts police appeal

Police are appealing for witnesses to an alleged incident of dangerous driving involving a blue Volkswagen Golf around 10.35pm on Wednesday, June 12.

Officers say the Golf overtook three vehicles on the blind bend after Baikie’s Stores when heading west out of Finstown, before continuing in the 30 miles per hour limit at excessive speed.

Police are keen to hear from the drivers of the vehicles that were overtaken and the driver of an oncoming vehicle that would have had the Golf heading towards them.
