Police confirm that items were stolen from Garden House
Police have confirmed this afternoon that items were stolen from NHS Orkney’s Garden House after the break-in earlier this week.
On Thursday morning, a spokeswoman for Police Scotland said nothing had been taken, but, according to police this afternoon, it has become clear that items were removed from the health board administration building.
However, as police inquiries are ongoing, the details of the stolen goods are not being made public.
The break-in, which occurred some time between close of business on Tuesday and Wednesday morning, was the third in Kirkwall since last Friday.
NHS Orkney staff were relocated following the break-in but returned to the building, on Kirkwall’s New Scapa Road, on Thursday.
