Police urge return of lost medication

Following medication being lost in Stromness, Police “strongly urge” anyone who finds it to hand it in to the Kirkwall Police Station.

A spokesman from Police Scotland said:

“A blister pack containing Subutex has been lost by a member of the public in and around the Stromness Pier yesterday. The tablets it contains are described as large white oval tablets with a groove down the centre. The blister pack is labelled ‘Subutex.’

“We strongly urge any member of the public who finds this to hand it in to Kirkwall Police Station or to contact the Police so we can collect it. For peoples safety do not consume any medication that is not prescribed to you as it potentially can have an adverse effect.“
