Orkney Islands Council has issued a final reminder for anyone voting by post in this Thursday’s council election that they need to put their postal ballot packs in the post today, Tuesday, May 1, so that their vote reaches the council in time to be counted.

Alternatively, postal ballot packs can be dropped off on polling day, May 3, to the council offices in Kirkwall by 5pm, or until 10pm at any polling station on Mainland Orkney.
