Postal votes reminder

Orkney Islands Council is reminding people to get their postal votes in the mail as soon as possible — to make sure these arrive in time for this week’s European Parliamentary Elections on Thursday, May 23.

The council has also advised that postal voting statements can also be handed in at any polling station on Thursday.

In addition, they can be dropped off at OIC Customer Services in Kirkwall during office hours on polling day — or posted through the letterbox at the Council Offices at School Place up until 10pm.
