Practice mine ashore at Warebeth

Police are urging people to stay away from a “practice mine” that has washed up at Warebeth, in Stromness.

Although the item is not thought to be dangerous, folk are being advised to stay away from it as a precaution.

According to a spokesman, the Coastguard are arranging to have the item removed from the shore.
