Registration opens for Monumental Midnight Walk

Registration for third CLAN Monumental Midnight Week begins this week

The walk, which will be held on June 22, has proved to be a very successful and popular event for CLAN in the past, and those at the Victoria Street premises will be taking registration for this year’s walk from this week onwards.

To register, to volunteer as a marshal or to open your house as a rest stop for the event, contact Karen on 873393 (not 873392 as is in this week’s The Orcadian) or email karen.scott@clanhouse.org.

The five-mile route is round Stromness; the 14-mile route goes out through Sandwick and in past the Ring of Brodgar, back to Stromness; and the 23-mile walk goes out to Skara Brae, and back in past the Ring of Brodgar.
