Report to procurator fiscal following road accident

Two people were slightly injured during a two vehicle road crash outside St Mary’s, Holm, yesterday afternoon.

The accident, at 4.20pm, between a car and a pick-up, led to the road being closed for two hours.

Two people were treated in Kirkwall’s Balfour Hospital. Their condition is not known, however a police spokesman said they were not thought to be serious.

Kirkwall police confirmed that a man is to be reported to the procurator fiscal for alleged driving offences.
