Respects to be paid at Kitchener Memorial

Today, Wednesday, is the 103rd anniversary of the loss of HMS Hampshire and 737 men close to the Orkney coast.

There will be an informal gathering at 8.30pm by the Kitchener Memorial to share thoughts and reflect, with a two-minute silence at 8.45pm. Organisers say all are welcome.
