Road closure in Stromness

Orkney Islands Council is advising that Scottish and Southern Energy Network (SSEN) have had to close Victoria Street in Stromness to locate and repair a cable fault.

Victoria Street is closed between the Pier Head and Argo’s bakery to traffic, pedestrian access should not be affected.

SSEN have not given a timescale as to how long the works will take.
