Road closures starting Monday
Carness Road in Kirkwall will be closed from Monday August 23 until Friday August 27th to enable works in connection with the Carness housing site and the public road to be completed safely.Â
Orkney Islands Council has confirmed there will be no vehicle access throughout this period and drivers are asked to follow the signed diversion route that is already in place. This will mean the Service 9 bus route will be diverted through Moar Drive.
