Roads surface dressing update for Friday July 6

The local councils roads surface dressing will begin tomorrow, Friday, July 6, in South Ronaldsay, on a small side road around half a mile from St Margaret’s Hope.

The work will take place between Brandyquoy and the Old Schoolhouse and every effort will be made to maintain access for vehicles.

Later in the day, the surface dressing team will move to Holm, on the road from Hurtiso Farm to Warthill, where short signed diversions will be in place. The work here may take place on Saturday as well.

The council has said bus services will be unaffected by tomorrow’s work.
