Rovers extend lead at top of ‘A’ League

Kirkwall Rovers extended their lead at the top of the Orkney Cheese ‘A’ League to six points with a 3-2 win over rivals Thorfinn earlier this evening.

A James Linklater strike, and two goals from Mark Berry gave Rovers the win over second-placed Thorfinn, who scored through Colin Risbridger and David Delday.

Rovers are now six points ahead of Thorfinn, who have a game in hand and play Dounby on Tuesday.
