Second vehicle struck while crossing barrier

A second vehicle was damaged crossing the second Churchill Barrier yesterday, Thursday.

According to police, the incident occurred around 6pm and saw the windscreen of the vehicle smashed by a “freak wave”.

The driver was uninjured and managed to get the car to the north end of the causeway.
