Stay visible say police following accidents
Police have issued a reminder to people to make themselves visible while out in the dark winter months, following two recent accidents.
According to local police, there have recently been two accidents involving pedestrians being hit by motor vehicles, thankfully not resulting in serious injury, and on both occasions the pedestrians were in dark clothing.
A police spokesman said: “We recommend the use of high-visibility jackets or accessories, but as a minimum light-coloured clothing should be worn.”
