Stromness road works planned

Orkney Islands Council is advising that essential maintenance work is set to take place on John Street and Victoria Street in Stromness over the next two weeks.

The work is planned for Victoria Street from Monday, February 19, to Friday, February 23, and for John Street the following week.

Road closures will be needed while the work is carried out.

However, there will be limited access for vehicles before 9am, between 12 noon and 1pm, and after 3.30pm. Pedestrian access will be unaffected.
