Taylah gets set for relay final at Commonwealth Games
Orkney sprinter Taylah Paterson is preparing to compete at a Commonwealth Games final today (Sunday).
Scotland’s 4×100-metre relay side, of Paterson, Rebecca Matheson, Sarah Malone and Alisha Rees, will be up against Jamaica, India, Trinidad & Tobago, Ghana, Nigeria, England and Australia.
The final is scheduled to take place at 12.54pm.
Paterson, who just got married last weekend and is competing under her maiden name of Spence at the Games, and her Scottish teammates navigated the track in 45.39 seconds to qualify behind Jamaica and India in the heats on Saturday.
