Three Orkney acts make Scots Trad Awards final
Three Orkney acts have made it on to the Album of the Year shortlist at the Scots Trad Music Awards — and now they need your help to claim the prize.
Orkney Monster by the Chair, The Light of The Moon by Gnoss, and Kris Drever’s Where the World is Thin are all selected among the ten-strong shortlist for Album of the Year.
The winners will be announced in a live ceremony on BBC Alba at 9pm, on Saturday, December 4.
For Gnoss, with only their second album this is their second nomination, while The Chair previously won Band of the Year, and Kris Driver has been awarded Instrumentalist of the Year and Composer of the Year.
