TV company seeking Orcadian wild weather experiences

Television company Raw are currently making a documentary for Channel 4 about extreme winter weather and they need your help.

They want to get a complete picture of the way that storms, snow, ice, rain, high winds and big waves can affect life for ordinary Britons — and so are asking Orkney residents to document the way in which bad winter weather affects their daily lives.

They are looking for folk to film some footage during the severe weather that’s heading our way.

The filming doesn’t have to be professional, however they are asking for the person to say who they are, what they do, how they battle or adapt to the weather and their thoughts about it in general.

This could be done while you go about your job or daily life.

Anyone willing to participate should send their video — shot horizontally — via ‘we transfer’ to cass.horowitz@raw.co.uk.

The company stress that people should not put themselves in danger or do anything they wouldn’t normally do.
