Appeal for collision witnesses

Kirkwall police are looking for witnesses to a vehicle collision on Kirkwall’s Holm Road on Wednesday morning.

According to police, a white van, driving at excessive speed, crossed the white lines and struck an oncoming vehicle, damaging its offside wing-mirror. The incident occurred around 8.45am.

Anyone who saw the incident is urged to contact Kirkwall Police station on 101.
