. . . while Uppies take the Men’s
In a game just short of five hours, the Uppies have won the Christmas Day Men’s Ba’.
The ba’ was thrown up at 1pm by John Copland, winner of the 1989 Christmas Day Men’s Ba’, and reached the Uppie goal just before 6pm.
Around 6.05pm, it was 42-year-old Ross Linklater, from Kirkwall, who was declared the winner and held the ba’ aloft.
(Photographs from today’s Men’s Ba’ will appear here once we’ve finished uploading them)
