Yellow warning of ice for Orkney

The Met Office have put out a yellow weather warning for ice, this weekend.

The warning, which advises folk to “be aware,” will be in place from 5pm today, Friday, until 11am tomorrow.

According to the chief forecaster’s assessment, though the extent of ice looks like being somewhat lower than it was earlier in the week, there is still likely to be a hazard whether wintry showers fall.
