Accommodation vessel leaves the Flow
The Prosafe accommodation vessel Safe Boreas has left Scapa Flow for the North Sea to undertake rig support on charter.
The Safe Boreas was the second of the Prosafe vessels to arrive in Scapa Flow last December, and has been a fixture on the Scapa Flow skyline since.
The arrival of the vessel also provided a flurry of activity for local companies through crew changes, supplies, craneage, scaffolding and diving services.
The remaining accommodation vessel Regalia, will continue to be anchored in the Flow until the early summer and it is possible that further Prosafe vessels will be arriving in Orkney over the next few months says OIC Marine Services.
