Alton B. Copland to close

The company of Alton B Copland Ltd is to cease trading after 31 years in business, it has been announced today, Monday.

It is reported that the difficult decision has been taken by the family due to the ongoing ill health of the Managing Director, Alton Copland. The company, which has its sales showroom on Grainshore road, Hatston,  is to be wound up over the coming three to four months and will be focusing on the completion of current contracts and customer service between now and then.

The heating engineering and bathroom furnishings company currently employs 14 members of staff, who have been informed of the decision and are being offered support to gain new employment.

The family wish to thank all of the staff for their loyalty and dedication over the last number of years.

In addition, the company and family wish to thank all of their customers for making the business a success over the last 31 years.
