Appeal for witnesses to Kirkwall theft

Police are looking for witnesses to a theft from a vehicle parked at Lynn Crescent, Kirkwall, this week.

According to a spokesman, the incident occurred between 8.30pm on Wednesday night and 10.30am yesterday, Thursday.

Anyone who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area is asked to contact the police station via 101.

Meanwhile, a blue Volkswagen Lupo, in the Grieveship Brae car park, Stromness, was damaged between 8.30pm on Wednesday and 5.30pm yesterday, Thursday. Anyone with information is also asked to contact the station.
