Archaeological survey training available on Hoy
The next phase of the Hoy and Walls Landscape Project begins next week and will consist of archaeological walkover and measured survey at Cantick, South Walls, and Braebuster, Hoy.
Folk are encouraged to come along and learn archaeological survey skills. For further information, phone Dan Lee on 07990998153.
The programme is as follows:
- Monday, Sept 3: Cantick – Walkover survey 10:00-15:30
- Tuesday, Sept 4: Cantick – Walkover survey 10:00-15:30
- Wednesday, Sept 5:  Cantick – Guided walk 12:30-15:30
- Thursday, Sept 6: Braebuster, Hoy – Walkover survey 10:00-15:30
- Friday, Sept 7:   Braebuster, Hoy – Guided walk 12:30-15:30
