Big Reunion raises over £22,000

Charity fundraiser, The Big Reunion (Orkney), which was held in the Pickaquoy Centre on Saturday night,  has raised a grand total of £22,467.82.

The money raised will be split between cancer charities, CLIC Sargent and CLAN Cancer Support, giving each just over £11,200.

The event, attended by a capacity audience, brought back to the stage, many of the most popular bands in Orkney over the past few decades, including, The Orcades, Blue Mother, Country Suede, Shogun, Three Peace Sweet and Kelowna.
