Boats big and small attract attention

The Cunard liner Queen Elizabeth has tied up at Hatston Pier for the first time this morning, Sunday.

Many of the 2000 passengers onboard are visiting Kirkwall on shuttle busses from the harbour , while others are on tour around the county.

Meanwhile, much  smaller vessels will be on display, as well as other attractions, over in Deerness this afternoon, when the Deerness Boat Show takes place at the Geo, at Newark. The event takes place from 1pm onwards.
