Cabinet Secretary to meet with Orkney’s farmers

The Scottish Government’s Cabinet Secretary for Rural Affairs, Food and the Environment Richard Lochhead is in Orkney today, Tuesday, meeting with local farmers and food & drink producers.

Firstly, Mr Lochhead will be meeting with Orkney’s farmers at an NFU Scotland CAP roadshow, held in the Ayre hotel, this morning. In the afternoon he will be  given a  guided tour of the Orkney Brewery in Quoyloo, Sandwick, after which he will be meeting various local food producers at a showcase in the brewery’s visitor centre.
