Cable fault knocks out broadband in Deerness

British Telecom engineers are trying to repair a fibre-optic cable fault which has left households in Deerness without broadband since Saturday.

The company has apologised to customers for the break in service.

A spokesman said that engineers are working as hard as they can to restore broadband to homes in the parish.
