Challenges south for Orkney football teams

Orkney’s senior county football team is due to play a friendly against Wick Academy today, while the Orkney Women’s Football Club is travelling south for a competitive tournament.

The Wick Academy v Orkney match is due to kick-off at Harmsworth Park in Wick at 2pm.

Meanwhile, the Orkney Women’s FC is taking part in the inaugural North of Scotland Tournament in Dingwall, also today.

The competition also involves teams from Caithness, Brora, Inverness, and the Western Isles.
