Ms Moore is responsible for providing national professional, policy and organisational advice on nursing, midwifery and public health nursing matters within the Scottish Government and to NHS Scotland. Of particular interest to Ms Moore related to Orkney is the development of clinical leadership within an integrated health and care system and the continuous improvement in our clinical services for example the high dependency unit. During her visit Ms Moore visited the acute ward and the maternity unit within Balfour Hospital.
