Christmas Day win for Doonie boys

In a game lasting just under 70 minutes, the first ba’ of the festive season has been claimed by the Doonies.

The Boys’ Ba’ was thrown up by Richard Gibson at 10am and hit the water at the Kirkwall Basin at 11.07am.

After a 20-minute debate, 15-year-old Harry Siderfin, from St Ola, was declared the winner.
