Clock is ticking for council candidates

There’s just over a week left for prospective candidates to put themselves forward for the Kirkwall West and Orphir by-election.

Nomination papers must be completed and delivered to the council’s elections team by 4pm on Monday, October 27.

The by-election is being held on November 27 to find another councillor for the ward following the resignation of Jack Moodie in September.
