Community Council appointments

The appointment of the chair and vice-chair for the Kirkwall and St. Ola Community Council took place last night, Monday, at their meeting held in the Garden Room within King Street Halls.

After votes were cast it was decided that Bryan Taylor would return to the post of chair and George Eunson would also return to the post of vice chair.

Mr Taylor gratefully accepted the post saying: “I’m delighted to be back as chair and I would like to thank members for giving me the opportunity to return to the post. I think, with the help of councillors, we’ve had quite a few achievements in the past year and hopefully we can continue this progress.”
