Competition first for Orkney’s Young Farmers

The Young Farmers North Area Agri competitions are taking place in Orkney this weekend, for the first time.

Joining the Orkney teams, Young Farmers from all over the north of Scotland have travelled to the county to compete at Orkney Auction Mart.

At last year’s competition, Orkney took second place in the cattle dressing, second and third place in the Agri Skills and third place in the prime lamb dressing.

The competition gets under way today, Saturday, at 9am.
