Coplands Dock feedback event

A drop-in session takes place on Thursday, February 28, to give the pubic the chance to comment on potential future development at the Coplands Dock site in Stromness.

The feedback event, hosted by Orkney Islands Council, takes place between 4 and 8pm at the Royal Hotel in Stromness.

A consultation session for stakeholders from relevant industries and statutory bodies will take place earlier in the day.

Following these events, the council will begin work on a draft master plan for the area for further public consultation in early summer.

This, says the OIC, will ensure that the relevant planning policies are in place in advance of the new pier at Coplands Dock becoming operational.
